Traditional

Traditional kitchens are a more on the formal side with an elegant look reminiscent of European homes of the 18th through the 20th centuries. Traditional kitchens tend to have more ornate trimming and molding, the cabinets tend to be in deeper wood tones such as walnut, mahogany, and cherry, and there tends to be a more antique look in the lighting and appliances.

Cottage

Neutral and pastel paint colors are commonly incorporated into cottage style upgrades for a calm and soothing atmosphere. Adding white to furniture, cabinets or accent pieces also helps achieve this style. Vintage inspired cabinet knobs (wrought iron, for instance), floral elements, quilts and wicker furniture or accessories are a few ways to bring your cottage style kitchen together.
